Located on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia, Penang is a Malaysian state laying by the Malacca Strait. The only ferry route departing the port is to Langkawi, supplied by Langkawi Ferry Services and lasts for around 2 hours 45 minutes.

How do visitors get around Penang?

Many choose to walk around George Town, though it is advised to carry sun lotion at all times and to leave fairly early in the morning. Alternatively, there is a bus service in operation, taxis readily available and rental car companies.
